Jonathan Baron grew up in Santa Monica, California. He described his path into acting as a means of solace after losing his mother when he only 7 years of age. His childhood career in acting began mostly in commercial work for Disney, Mattel, Sea World, and the US Post Office. Later on, Jonathan's career expanded with voice work for the 1990s cartoon series "The Ren & Stimpy Show" (1991). Other television series credits include episodes on "Birnkrant 616" (2006), "Cold Case" (2003) and "The Mentalist" (2008). He is perhaps easily recognized for his leading role appearance in the supernatural horror feature, Haunted High (2012) (TV). This is likely Jonathan's strongest film credit which included a mixed cast of well-knowns and fledgling performers ranging from film veterans M.C. Gainey (as the evil headmaster), Danny Trejo and Charisma Carpenter to Lauren Pennington and Shawn C. Phillips as fellow students who also shared the dangers of their haunted high school. Outside of acting, Jonathan enjoys time performing with his rock band, working on bikes, ice hockey, going on 'backpacking adventures', and visiting local art galleries.
